Project kick off & update: Southpoint
We are excited to feature one of our projects that saw us kick start the new year off in partnership with Corkish Construction, delivering the infrastructure for a brand-new industrial estate located just outside Chippenham, between the A350 and Patterdown Road, our scope includes:
- Installing drainage to service all plots
- Setting kerbs and utilities
- Constructing a new pumping station
It was fantastic to see Plantforce taking a keen interest in the project last week, filming interviews and highlighting our collaborative approach. Both Plantforce and Solum share similar values, ensuring efficiency and innovation in everything we do.
Despite the challenging weather, great progress continues at the Southpoint site. It’s a tough time of year, but seeing the site take shape is a real reward. This project will soon provide opportunities for many local personnel within the Wiltshire catchment. A great effort from all involved!
The project will continue through the summer and we’re optimistic about improved ground conditions as we progress.
