Challenges

We worked alongside Pellikaan to devise specialist solutions for the project’s unique features:

  • Proximity to Cemetery

Working near a cemetery required sensitivity and respect for the surrounding area. Our team implemented measures to ensure that operations did not encroach upon the cemetery grounds and maintained a clean and tidy work area to uphold reverence for the site.

  • Pedestrian Safety

With the site situated near a main road, pedestrian safety was paramount. We prioritised the implementation of safety measures to ensure that the work area remained safe and accessible for pedestrians.

  • Preservation of Heritage Trees

The presence of heritage trees on the site required careful consideration to avoid damage during excavations. Through strategic planning throughout the project, we successfully preserved these valuable natural assets.

  • Preservation of Live Pond

Implemented strategies to protect the integrity of the live pond during construction activities.
